There were 361 completed U.S. private equity deals totaling more than $39.5 billion in capital invested during the month of December. The number of deal transactions were down approximately 1.6% from November. Business and Consumer Products and Services remain hot sectors for investment, with 159 and 61 deals completed, respectively.
